Vontobel Records Net New Money Inflows
In the first nine months of 2025, Vontobel recorded total net new money inflows of 3,2 billion francs. While institutional clients saw further outflows of 2,0 billion francs, these were more than offset by strong inflows from private clients amounting to 4,7 billion francs.
Client transaction activity remained largely in line with the same period last year, the wealth management-focused bank said in a statement on Thursday.
All Regions Positive
In the «Private Clients» segment, the net new money inflow corresponded to an annualized growth rate of 5,7 percent, placing it at the upper end of the targeted range of 4 to 6 percent, Vontobel said. All regions reported positive inflows.
In the «Institutional Clients» segment, continued inflows in fixed income were offset by outflows in equities.
As of the end of September 2025, assets under management totaled 239,7 billion francs — an increase of 4,6 percent compared with the end of 2024, and up 2,7 percent from the end of June.
This increase resulted from a positive market performance of 15,3 billion francs and net new money inflows of 3,2 billion francs. Currency effects, however, had a negative impact of 9,6 billion francs. In addition, the successful integration of the IHAG client portfolio contributed 1,8 billion francs to assets under management (AuM).
The bank does not provide profit figures in its nine-month trading update.
