iCapital Recruits Former Goldman Sachs Chairman and CEO to Zurich
The alternative investment platform iCapital is reshaping its international leadership team. Marco Bizzozero, who has built and expanded the firm's international business over the past five years, is leaving the company to take on a new executive role with one of its clients. The company announced the move on Thursday, as reported by finews.
His successor will be Brooks Entwistle, who will assume the role of Head of International and join the executive leadership team, iCapital announced on Friday.
Entwistle will be based in Zurich and will relocate from Singapore to Switzerland. His appointment remains subject to the customary onboarding and relocation processes.
International Business Has Grown Significantly
Under Bizzozero's leadership, iCapital substantially expanded its presence outside the United States. Since 2020, the company's international business has grown to approximately 62 billion dollar in assets. Today, the group operates 19 offices worldwide, including key hubs in Zurich, London, Hong Kong, Singapore, Tokyo, and Abu Dhabi.

Bizzozero will remain connected to the company. He will continue serving on iCapital's International Advisory Board and support the leadership transition.
«Under his leadership, we have built a strong and sustainable foundation for our international business,» said iCapital Chairman and CEO Lawrence Calcano.
Career Spanning Goldman Sachs, Uber, and Ripple
Most recently, Entwistle served as Senior Vice President and Managing Director at blockchain company Ripple. Before that, he was Chief Business Officer International at Uber, overseeing business development and strategic partnerships across Asia, Europe, the Middle East, and Latin America.
Earlier in his career, he spent more than two decades at Goldman Sachs, where he served as CEO of Goldman Sachs Singapore, Chairman of Southeast Asia, and founder and CEO of Goldman Sachs India. In total, he spent 15 years based in Asia and became a partner at the US investment bank.
Focus on Alternative Investments
In his new role, Entwistle will oversee iCapital's operations across Europe, Asia-Pacific, Latin America, and Canada. The company's strategy remains unchanged: facilitating access to alternative investments for wealth managers and financial advisers while helping asset managers expand their distribution capabilities.
iCapital is one of the world's leading platforms for alternative investments. As of the end of March 2026, the platform administered nearly 1,2 trillion dollar in assets. The company works with more than 3'400 wealth management firms and approximately 13'000 financial professionals.
