The international audit, tax, and advisory firm Forvis Mazars has appointed Bettina Götte as Partner and Head of Audit & Assurance in Switzerland. She joins with a team of three auditors.

According to a statement released on Tuesday this move will enhance the firm’s insurance expertise, expand its local footprint, and further build its financial services capabilities. The financial services team now counts more than 60 professionals.

Audit, Assurance, and Advisory Expertise

Götte is a certified auditor and licensed audit expert with over 13 years of experience in auditing and advising insurance companies—including life, non-life, health, reinsurance, and captive insurers. She has led complex audits and advised clients on regulatory matters, internal controls, risk management, and business continuity. She has also been responsible for special audits such as incorporations, capital increases, and anti-money laundering reviews.

The release did not mention her previous role, but Götte spent 13 years at BDO Switzerland, most recently as Head of Audit Insurance. Earlier in her career, she worked as a consultant at VZ Vermögenszentrum.
