Banque Heritage with Lower Profit in the First Half of the Year

Banque Heritage generated a net profit of 7.5 million Swiss francs in the first half of 2025, as detailed in a press release issued on Friday. Last year, this figure was 9.2 million.

At 40.2 million francs, consolidated net operating income was 2 percent higher than in the same period last year. In terms of costs, the private bank refers to the expansion of the sales teams and «significant investments in IT solutions». Operating costs rose by 7 percent.

«In a difficult macroeconomic environment, these results demonstrate the Group's resilience», the statement continues. The growth in assets under management helped to offset the impact of the strong appreciation of the Swiss franc against the dollar and the generally less favorable interest rate environment.

Rising financial markets helped

Net inflows amounted to 445 million francs. The predominantly rising financial markets also compensated for the negative currency effects on client deposits in dollars. The Group's assets under management amounted to 5.08 billion francs as at June 30, an increase of 4 percent in the first half of the year.

«These results confirm the strength of our business model in a complex and challenging environment,» says CEO Marcos Esteve. For the second half of the year, the bank once again expects solid annual results.

Banque Heritage is headquartered in Geneva and has branches in Basel, Sion and Zurich and a subsidiary in Montevideo, Uruguay. The bank's roots lie in commodities trading.
