Stefan Mächler Takes Over Another Chairman Position

The Board of Directors of Condecta AG has appointed Stefan Mächler as the new Chairman of the Board of Directors, as detailed in a press release issued on Monday. He succeeds Thomas Vogt, who will remain a member of the Board of Directors.

The Winterthur-based company offers modular space solutions, container systems, sanitary systems, construction machinery, construction equipment and water protection systems and is one of Switzerland's leading providers in this field. Swiss Life Asset Managers acquired the company from Paragon Partners last year on behalf of one of its infrastructure funds.

Mächler was Group Chief Investment Officer (CIO) at Swiss Life's Asset Management division until May of this year. After around 11 years there, he handed over his responsibilities to his successor Per Erikson.

His professional background also includes leading positions in asset management at Mobiliar and Deutsche Bank. His career also includes a 19-year tenure at Credit Suisse, which concluded in 2005.

Experience and Strategic Expertise

With his entrepreneurial experience and strategic expertise, he is ideally placed to play a key role in shaping the further development and sustainable growth of Condecta, according to the press release. He has expertise in the areas of corporate management, investment management and the real estate and infrastructure sector in Switzerland and other European countries.

Condecta intends to stick to its strategic goal of further strengthening and expanding its market position as a leading provider of modular room systems.

«The company's development to date has been impressive. I am convinced that we can successfully continue on this path together and enable further growth,» said Mächler.

Not the First Chairman Position

Mächler also serves as Chairman of the Board of Directors at Cham Swiss Properties, a real estate company formed through the merger of the Cham Group and Ina Invest, which began as a spin-off from Implenia.
