Fairouz Bouhmida assumed her role as Director of Business Development at abrdn Investments (Switzerland) AG in December 2024, as announced by the company on Wednesday evening.

The finance and sales expert joins abrdn from Credit Suisse. In her new role, Bouhmida will concentrate on the large client segment. «I am confident that she will further drive the growth and success of our Swiss distribution business in the local market,» commented Karsten-Dirk Steffens, Country Head of abrdn in Switzerland, regarding the new hire.

Previously at Credit Suisse Asset Management

Bouhmida brings a wealth of experience from Credit Suisse Asset Management, where she managed relationships with private banks, cantonal banks, external asset managers (EAMs), family offices (FOs), and internal clients. Over her 20-year career, she has held senior positions at Alken Asset Management in Zurich, MainFirst Bank in Frankfurt, as well as J.P. Morgan, Bear Stearns, and DZ Bank in London.
