Donald Trump Jr. Is Coming to Zurich for a Economic Gathering

The inaugural «Global Economic Roundtable» will take place on 4 June 2026. The event is organised by Davos Lodge, according to a media release.

Under the title «Who Shapes the Global Economy?», participants are set to discuss geopolitical developments, capital flows, energy security and long-term investment strategies. The event is designed as a closed-door roundtable and is aimed at a limited number of invited guests from the worlds of business, politics and finance.

Trump Jr. on the Guest List

Donald Trump Jr., Executive Vice President of the Trump Organization and the eldest son of the U.S. president, is expected to attend as a special guest. 

Other announced participants include John Koudounis, President and CEO of Calamos Investments, DP World Group CFO Anil Mohta, and Bloomberg executive Felippe Velloso. Egyptian businessman Shafik Gabr, Czech real estate investor Luděk Sekyra, and Mohamed Marshall, Chairman of the Board of the Ports and Duty-Free Zone Authority of Somaliland, are also expected to attend.

Discussions Behind Closed Doors

The programme includes an afternoon roundtable discussion followed by a private dinner. According to the organisers, the focus will be on discussions held in a smaller setting.

Davos Lodge has been organising events involving participants from business, politics and the investment industry for several years. The Zurich gathering marks the first roundtable of this kind hosted by the company in the city.
