Baptiste Maréchal has been named as the head of intermediaries for Romandie and Ticino at Pictet Asset ManagementPictet Asset Management.

Maréchal, who is based in Geneva, assumed the role in May.

In his new role, Maréchal serves clients across the French- and Italian-speaking regions of Switzerland, working closely with them to address evolving portfolio construction challenges and investment priorities.

He spent the last seven years as the head of client strategy within the firm’s intermediaries division. Maréchal originally joined Pictet Asset Management as a risk officer in 2013, a position he held for 12 years.

Commenting on the appointment, Maréchal shared the following on LinkedIn: «Since joining Pictet in 2013, I have benefited from a culture of long-term thinking and high standards. I am grateful for the trust placed in me and for the colleagues and mentors who have contributed to my development. I look forward to further strengthening our partnerships across Switzerland and engaging with clients on the opportunities and challenges shaping our industry.»
