Vontobel: Brian Fischer Steps Down from Operational Duties
Brian Fischer, Head of Global Private Clients Business & Services, will step down from his operational responsibilities at the end of March 2026. Going forward, he will focus on non-executive mandates. A Vontobel spokesperson confirmed this upon request.
Fischer looks back on a 25-year career at Vontobel. During this time, he played a key role in expanding the business with external asset managers (EAM) and financial intermediaries in key markets such as Switzerland, Germany, Singapore, Hong Kong, and the United States.
Remains active for Vontobel
Between 2021 and 2025, he served as Deputy Head of Private Clients, where he helped drive the expansion of the UHNWI and key client business. Most recently, as Chairman of the Private Clients Committee (PCC), he was responsible for further developing the segment’s governance structure.
Fischer will remain closely associated with Vontobel: he will continue to serve as Chairman of Bank Vontobel Europe AG and Vontobel Securities AG.
Operational responsibilities within the Private Clients division will be assumed by the existing leadership team.
