According to a statement, the Bank Council of Zürcher Kantonalbank has appointed Scott Rüdlinger Zoller to this role, opting for an internal leadership solution.

Rüdlinger Zoller has been with Zürcher Kantonalbank for more than six years, serving in various functions. He currently heads the Basic Banking, Billing & Payments division within the Products & Services unit and also acts as its deputy. In this role, he is responsible for key product areas such as accounts, cards, payments and payment services, and is closely involved in the interest rate strategy for account products.

«Proven expert»

He succeeds Daniel Previdoli, who will leave the bank at the end of 2026 as part of the regular succession planning at General Management level.

Chairman of the Bank Council, Jörg Müller-Ganz, describes Rüdlinger Zoller as a «proven expert» for this strategically important business unit. His combination of deep product expertise, digitalisation experience and leadership skills makes him the ideal choice to further develop the division.

CEO Urs Baumann also underlines the importance of the internal succession: with Rüdlinger Zoller, a manager takes on the role who knows the bank and its broad range of products and services inside out. This ensures continuity in a function that is central to Zürcher Kantonalbank.

Before joining Zürcher Kantonalbank in 2020, Rüdlinger Zoller was, among other roles, co-founder of a start-up specialising in digital wealth management. His previous positions also include UBS Wealth Management, the UBS pension fund, Credit Suisse Asset Management and the Swiss National Bank.

In addition to his operational responsibilities, he is involved in various committees, including serving as Vice Chairman of the Investment Committee of Zürcher Kantonalbank’s pension fund and as a board member of Pension Fund Services.
