Geneva Financial Services Firm Expands Board of Directors
Ninety-Six Partners has now been in existence for 30 years. The company is using this anniversary as an opportunity to strengthen governance within its leadership bodies, according to a statement released on Thursday.
The board of directors is being expanded with a new independent member. Jean-Sylvain Perrig has been appointed to the board. He brings more than 30 years of experience in private and institutional asset management as well as in strategic leadership roles at renowned financial institutions. Among other positions, he served as Chief Investment Officer at Edmond de Rothschild and at Union Bancaire Privée (UBP), where he was also a member of the executive committee.
Perrig is the founder of the consulting firm Premyss and chairman of the investment committee of Lemania-Pension. As a former president of the Swiss Financial Analysts Association (SFAA), he made a significant contribution to the development of professional standards and best practices in asset management.
New Finma-Qualified Managing Director
In addition, Jérôme Moser has been appointed Finma-qualified managing director. He has been with the company since 2025 and has built up and developed the Asset Servicing & Consulting division. He brings nearly 30 years of experience in the Swiss and international banking industry. He previously held senior positions at UBS, SIX Group, Edmond de Rothschild – as a member of the executive committee – and Credit Suisse.
Going forward, there will be a clear separation between strategic oversight and operational management. In this context, board member and founding partner Alexandre Michellod will no longer hold an operational delegation role within the executive management. However, he will continue his engagement on the board of directors and in the strategic development of the company.
Strengthening the Firm’s Positioning
These changes are in line with the company’s strategic development. They also underline the ambition to sustainably strengthen governance, organisational structure and institutional positioning, the statement said.
Founded in Geneva in 1996, the independent financial services firm is active in consulting for the banking and financial sector at C-level. Following the Finma licence obtained in 2024, its activities were expanded to include financial and wealth advisory, discretionary asset management and asset servicing.
