TKB has appointed Francesca Keller as Head of Retail Banking with effect from the beginning of August. In this role, she will also join the bank’s Executive Board. She succeeds Daniel Kummer, who is leaving the cantonal bank due to age-related reasons, according to a press release issued on Friday.

The 33-year-old banking professional from Thurgau has been managing TKB’s Frauenfeld branch since 2024. Prior to that, she held management positions at two Raiffeisen banks. The business administration graduate began her career with a banking apprenticeship, followed by roles at KPMG and in risk management at UBS, the statement continues.

New Private Banking Division

From the beginning of 2026, existing Executive Board member Tobias Hilpert will head the newly established Private Banking division. With this step, TKB aims to consolidate its expertise and services in investment and asset management. The division will also include the Private Banking sales units, which are currently part of the retail banking division.

The Market Services division, previously led by Hilpert, will be dissolved, and its departments will be integrated into other areas of the bank. With this organizational adjustment, TKB intends to further strengthen its positioning as an investment and pension bank, the communiqué states.
