The completion of the transaction remains subject to regulatory approval and is expected in the second quarter of 2026. With the acquisition and ongoing organic growth, Cinerius will surpass the 16-billion-euro mark in assets under management for the first time.

One of Germany's Most Renowned Firms

Since its founding in 1990, BKP has been among Germany's renowned independent wealth managers. The firm stands for long-term client relationships, high-quality advisory services and a values-based investment philosophy. Managing partners Jens Thomas and Klaus Kehl emphasize that the partnership with Cinerius will create additional freedom to secure their quality standards in client service and asset management over the long term. Founder Peter W. Kolberg sees the merger as a foundation for strategically continuing the firm’s tradition.

Gordian Giger, Head of Partnerships bei Cinerius, praises BKP as a wealth manager with a strong heritage whose professionalism aligns perfectly with the group's philosophy. CEO Joël Schüepp underscores the strategic importance of expanding into Frankfurt and speaks of a clear growth path the company will pursue together with its new partner.

The Cinerius Group, headquartered in Zug, currently comprises twelve partner firms with more than 200 employees at 15 locations across the DACH region and Luxembourg.
