GenTwo Lands a Giant
On Tuesday, GenTwo, the Zurich-based fintech specializing in investment-product securitization, announced that Interactive Brokers has joined its AMC Creator ecosystem. The move connects GenTwo’s off-balance-sheet structuring technology with one of the world’s largest brokerage platforms, giving professional investors a streamlined way to design and issue Actively Managed Certificates (AMCs) on virtually any underlying.
The AMC Creator, launched in mid-2025 (as reported by finews.com), enables asset managers to transform investment strategies into securitized products in just a few steps — across asset classes ranging from equities and bonds to hedge-fund strategies, digital assets, and private markets. Through the collaboration, Interactive Brokers' users will gain access to institutional-grade execution, custody, and connectivity across more than 160 markets worldwide.
A Global Brokerage Giant
Interactive Brokers (IBKR) is not only one of the world’s largest electronic brokers by daily trading volume — it’s also a major infrastructure provider for professional and institutional clients. While it serves millions of individual investors, roughly two-thirds of its client equity base stems from institutional and B2B relationships: introducing brokers, hedge funds, proprietary trading firms, financial advisors, and family offices.
According to its latest filings and investor presentations (Q2 2025), IBKR services more than 2,100 introducing brokers and over 9,000 registered investment advisors (RIAs) globally. Its client equity exceeds $750 billion, with more than 4 million funded accounts across 200+ countries and territories. Institutional clients alone account for approximately 60 percent of daily trading volume, highlighting IBKR’s unique reach within the professional segment.
«Global Reach»
This is the precise group that GenTwo’s AMC Creator now becomes accessible to — asset managers, RIAs, and broker-dealers who can use the new execution and custody infrastructure to launch and manage AMCs directly. The partnership effectively extends GenTwo’s distribution into one of the world’s largest institutional brokerage ecosystems, combining GenTwo’s Swiss securitization framework with IBKR’s global trading connectivity across 160+ markets.
«Their institutional-grade infrastructure and global reach perfectly complement our mission to make investment product creation accessible, cost-efficient, and scalable,» GenTwo CEO Philippe A. Naegeli said in the statement.
