Revolut Launches Multi-Billion Expansion Drive

The British fintech Revolut on Tuesday opened its new global headquarters in London and unveiled an ambitious growth plan.

Over the next five years, it plans to invest 11.5 billion euros and create 10,000 new jobs worldwide. Of that, 3.4 billion euros will go into the United Kingdom and 1 billion euros into France.

Europe and Latin America in focus

With its new Western Europe hub in Paris (finews.com reported) and planned branches in Portugal and Belgium, Revolut is strengthening its presence in Europe.

In Latin America, it aims to start operating as a bank in Mexico in early 2026, followed by further expansions in Colombia and Argentina. Also in its sights are new licenses across the APAC region, the Middle East, and Africa. Most recently, Revolut obtained approval to offer payment services in the United Arab Emirates, as finews.com reported.

Formula 1 as a marketing platform; unclear plans for Switzerland

Beyond financial services, Revolut is capturing attention with its recently announced partnership with the upcoming Audi F1 Team. Among other things, limited edition co-branded cards are planned.

However, Revolut gave no new details regarding its Swiss market plans. For years, rumours have persisted that the company is seeking its own banking license in Switzerland — but once again, nothing has been confirmed.
