Pictet With Slightly Higher Profit
The Geneva-based private bank Pictet reported stable results for the first half of 2025. Operating income remained unchanged at 1.57 billion francs, while expenses before tax fell by 2 percent to 1.15 billion francs. Net profit rose by 3 percent to 331 million francs.
Despite positive client momentum and solid investment performance, the weaker US dollar weighed on assets under management, which stood at 711 billion francs as of June 30 – down 2 percent compared to the end of 2024. Total equity reached 3.34 billion francs, with the total capital ratio at 24.3 percent, well above the 12 percent required by Switzerland’s FINMA.
Senior Managing Partner Marc Pictet highlighted the resilience of the business model and announced continued investments in talent and technology.
