BLKB Subsidiary Radicant: Another Blow

Anton Stadelmann, CEO of Radicant Bank, is throwing in the towel at the BLKB subsidiary. According to a statement released on Monday, the reason is differing views on the further development of the digital bank.

He will not be leaving the company immediately, «but will continue to perform his duties in full for the time being,» the statement said. This also includes the cost and efficiency program initiated after the 105 million Swiss franc write-down. Stadelmann is scheduled to leave the company by the end of 2026 at the latest.

The search for his successor has been launched, according to the statement.

This marks the second high-profile departure at Radicant Bank. In mid-July, it was announced that CFO Roland Kläy would be leaving the digital bank to join VP Bank. Kläy had been with Radicant Bank since its founding as Chief Financial & Risk Officer and had at times also served as Co-CEO.
