New Members Join the Board of the Association of Foreign Banks

At the AFBS General Assembly, two new board members were elected: Anke Bridge-Haux, CEO of LGT Bank (Switzerland) Ltd., and Grégory Lambillon, CEO and Country Manager of ING Wholesale Banking Switzerland.

In addition, the mandates of five existing board members and one auditor were confirmed. This composition ensures adequate representation of the diverse business areas of foreign banks in Switzerland and further strengthens their presence in the Swiss financial center, according to a press release issued Thursday.

The following members were confirmed:

  • Alfonso Gomez, Deputy Chair, CEO, BBVA (Suiza) SA. 
  • Enna Pariset, Deputy Chair, CEO and Head of Territory of BNP Paribas Group Switzerland.
  • Peter Gabriele, Member, Chief Executive Officer, J.P. Morgan (Suisse) SA.
  • Marni McManus, Member, Citi Country Officer & Head of Banking, Switzerland, Monaco, and Liechtenstein
  • Ivan Mattei, Auditor, Deputy General Manager, Banca Zarattini & Co SA

The Association of Foreign Banks in Switzerland (AFBS) was founded in 1972 and currently has 89 members, making it the second-largest banking group in Switzerland after the Swiss Bankers Association.

The leadership of the association remains unchanged, with Adrian Nösberger, CEO of Schroder & Co Bank AG, serving as President, and Raoul Oliver Würgler as Managing Director.
