Leonteq Appoints New Sales Chiefs for Switzerland

Leonteq has named Manuel Dürr as head of sales Switzerland, Bastian Heller as deputy head of sales Switzerland, and Paul Hourdier as head of sales Geneva. According finews.com sources, the trio is based in Zurich and assumed their new positions in May.

Dürr is overseeing Leonteq’s distribution in Switzerland. He reports to the head of investment solutions, Lorenzo Leccesi.

Heller and Hourdier report to Dürr. They are responsible responsible for leading the sales team and expanding the sales strategy of their respective regions. Their focus lies on structured investment solutions in various client segments.

Dürr looks back on a 15-year career at Leonteq. He originally joined the company as an analyst in 2009 and was promoted to a director within the public solutions department three years later. In 2012, he briefly moved to the firm’s structured sales solutions division before being appointed as head of public solutions in 2013.

Heller is already head of sales Zurich since 2022 and joined Leonteq in 2012. He previously worked as an associate within equity derivatives sales at Commerzbank in London.

Hourdier joined Leonteq in 2015 and most recently worked in structured product sales. Prior to that, he was a structured products and OTC derivatives specialist at BNP Paribas. He has also worked for HSBC and Société Générale. Hourdier is currently a lecturer in banking and finance at the HEG-Genève.
