Hypo Vorarlberg St.Gallen Posts Record Result

Hypo Vorarlberg in St.Gallen achieved strong growth in the 2024 financial year. Total assets increased by 11.4 percent to 1.481 billion Swiss francs. Net operating income reached an all-time high of 6.8 million francs.

Customer assets under management increased by 10.2 percent or 24.9 million francs, while customer loans rose by 10.4 percent or 108.3 million francs. Net interest income grew by 4.3 million francs to 14.6 million francs.

Asset Management Mandates Doubled

Commission income rose to 1 million francs. This is partly due to the doubling of asset management mandates. Trading income remained stable at 0.62 million francs.

Expansion of Personnel 

Personnel expenses rose 15.8 percent to 4.7 million francs. This is due to the increase in personnel (+9 employees). Material costs rose by 29.9 percent to 4.2. million francs, primarily due to investments in digitalization and increased outsourcing costs.

Positive Development to Continue in 2025

The bank remains on a solid trajectory this year, with business volume in the first four months exceeding that of the previous year. It is experiencing growth in both private and corporate client segments across German-speaking Switzerland. The asset structure advisory service launched in 2021 is also progressing well.
