Quilvest (Switzerland), a multi-family office based in Zurich, has promoted Marc Voser and Lucas Bloch to its new chief investment officers. Voser is the new CIO private market and alternative markets, while Bloch serves as CIO public markets.
They succeed Roger Frey, who has held the position since 2020. According to finews.com informations, Frey officially left the firm in January.
Voser oversees Quilvest (Switzerland)’s private & alternative markets investment activities. He is responsible for developing, executing, and monitoring the investment strategy and activities of the firm’s private equity, private debt, private real estate, and hedge fund assets.
Alternative markets for wealthy families
Voser leads a team of investment professionals and works closely with senior leadership. Quilvest said the CIO private and alternative markets position plays a crucial role in supporting the company’s continuous growth in its private and alternative markets practice for ultra high net worth individuals and wealthy families.
Bloch leads Quilvest’s public market investment activities. His role encompasses the development and execution of strategies across equities, fixed income, commodities, and currencies while ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.
He also manages a team of investment professionals, which cover portfolio management, investment strategy, trading, and execution, as well as investment advisory services.
He collaborates with senior leadership and serves as a key contact for client investment advisory services. As CIO-PM, Bloch spears the QVS Investment Committee, where he actively participates as a voting member and facilitates meaningful discussions to guide informed investment decisions.
