U.S. Investment Specialist Expands Presence in Switzerland

Carlyle has made a move to highlight its commitment to Switzerland and the DACH region, broadening the private markets access it offers for private investors and wealth management clients. Carlyle is strengthening its presence in Switzerland, with Zurich as a key regional hub for private wealth.

The company appointed Robert Steiner as Head of Wealth Distribution for Switzerland and the DACH region. He will be based in Zurich.

From Franklin Templeton and Credit Suisse to Carlyle

Steiner previously held a range of financial services sales roles at institutions including Franklin Templeton and Credit Suisse. He will be responsible for the firm's relationships with its private wealth clients, family offices, HNWs, and intermediaries in the region.

Record Inflows

The appointment comes as the Carlyle builds on its strategy to expand its global wealth platform. Carlyle saw record inflows of $4.5 billion from the wealth channel during 2024, and it expects to build on that success in 2025.
