Daniela Diethelm Takes On New Role at Vontobel

Daniela Diethelm has been promoted to deputy CEO and chief operating officer at Vontobel Swiss Financial Advisers. Diethelm assumed the position this March in Zurich. She succeeds Juergen Wegner, who held the position for the last two years.

Diethelm has spent the last four years as the head wealth management for Germany, UK & Nordics in Zurich at Bank Vontobel. She was simultaneously a member of Vontobel’s Wealth Management executive committee.

She originally joined the firm in 2018 as a managing director and head wealth management Germany, Austria and oversees.

Before Vontobel, Diethelm was the head business development WM EMEA at UBS in Zurich. One year prior, she was the deputy market head Germany and Austria international and a desk head for HNWIs.

Diethelm began her professional career at UBS in 1990 through an apprenticeship at UBS.
