Morgan Stanley Expands Sales Team in Switzerland

Morgan Stanley Investment Management is strengthening its presence in Switzerland by appointing Philippe Sudan as Executive Director of the sales team in Zurich. According to a statement released on Wednesday, Sudan will be responsible for managing institutional clients and driving business development efforts.

He will report to Sebastian Römer, who oversees sales across the DACH region (Germany, Austria, and Switzerland).

Experience with Allianz GI, ResponsAbility, and Lehman Brothers

Sudan brings 20 years of experience working with institutional investors. Most recently, he was with German asset manager Allianz Global Investors, where he held a similar role for nearly a decade and led business development for Swiss institutional clients.

Earlier in his career, he worked at ResponsAbility Investments, specializing in institutional sales, and began his career in the equity derivatives segment at Lehman Brothers.
