Edmond de Rothschild Creates Specialist Team for Private-Markets Distribution
Edmond de Rothschild Asset Management is expanding its distribution structures in the area of private markets. The firm has created a specialised team that will drive institutional growth in the segments of infrastructure, real estate and private equity. The team will be led by Robbert Zoet, who has been appointed Head of Private Markets Distribution and will report to Marie Jacot, Global Head of Distribution.
Zoet has been working as Head of Real Assets Distribution in London since early 2024.
Expanding the Institutional Client Base
With the new structure, Edmond de Rothschild aims to expand its institutional client base and deepen strategic distribution partnerships, according to a statement released on Tuesday. The company already has established platforms in the key areas of private markets: real estate with €13.6 billion in assets under management, the BRIDGE infrastructure debt platform with €6.5 billion, as well as private equity with €4.6 billion and a team of 215 experts across eleven investment strategies.
The New Private-Markets Team
As part of the expansion, Jan Novak has been appointed Head of Private Markets Distribution Germany, and Bertie Milward has been appointed Head of Private Markets Distribution Nordics. Novak, who brings experience from private banking and fundraising at Donner & Reuschel and LaSalle Investment Management, will operate out of Frankfurt. Milward, formerly in senior fundraising roles at Goldman Sachs and a European placement agent, will be responsible for the Nordic markets and additionally support the UK business. Both will report to Robbert Zoet.
The new private-markets team also includes Fabrice Lefevre-Sory, responsible for real-assets distribution in France and the Middle East, as well as Léa Mangani, who leads private-equity distribution and oversees product strategy for private markets. Working from London, Paris and Frankfurt, the team collaborates closely with the firm’s global distribution network and product departments.
Supporting Investors More Effectively
«The new structure enables us to support institutional investors even more effectively and expand our private-markets business further,» emphasises Marie Jacot. Robbert Zoet adds that the firm is creating a scalable model that combines expertise and global reach – strengthening the growth ambitions of the company in the private-markets segment.
