After 29 years as Head of Communications and Media Spokesperson for Luzerner Kantonalbank (LUKB), Daniel von Arx is stepping down. He will make way for Sybille Umiker as of March 1st 2025, according to a statement released on Tuesday .

Arx will focus on strategic projects as Senior Communications Advisor at LUKB until his planned retirement in 2027.

Experience With Media and Banks

Sibylle Umiker completed basic banking training and was Media Relations Manager at Zürcher Kantonalbank from 2003 to 2011. From 2011 to 2021, she worked in Group Communications at Emmi in Lucerne, where her responsibilities included global media relations and various strategic communications projects.

Since 2021, Umiker has been part of the management team of the consultancy Sustainserv, which supports companies in matters relating to ESG strategies and reporting.
