Gaming: Former UBS Manager Earns Her First Credits
Theresia Le Battistini worked as a Senior Project Manager at UBS for nearly ten years before deciding to embark on a new path: she started the mobile game «Fashion League,» which emphasizes modernity and innovation. For instance, the game features no gender assignment for avatars, as reported by finews.com.
Here's what the game is about: Each player creates their own 3D avatar and starts as a stylist. The shopping experience takes place in a virtual city with numerous shops where players can select items and stylishly dress their avatars. Additionally, players can participate in fashion competitions to interact with others and build their own fashion empire.

New Doors Open with Vogue Partnership
Battistini's company, Finfin Play, a pioneer in the fields of gaming, fashion, and technology, has secured the Vogue Fashion Fund as a partner, which hosts an international fashion competition among other things. This collaboration underscores the company's commitment to merging fashion and gaming and providing a platform for creative synergies. As part of this partnership, the global launch of «Fashion League» will take place in September.
The partnership includes a series of styling challenges and virtual locations inspired by the creations of this year's ten finalists. Each finalist designs an exclusive look for the game to showcase their collection. The winner, to be announced in October, will be able to open their own virtual store in the game, offering exclusive runway looks.
Special Event Planned for January 2025
Starting in January 2025, further initiatives are planned to celebrate the 20th anniversary of the CFDA/Vogue Fashion Fund. This includes an event featuring alumni brands, inspired by significant moments from their participation in the Fashion Fund program. Prominent members of the CFDA selection committee will appear as non-playable characters, enriching the event's storyline.
«We are excited to merge the physical world of fashion with the gaming universe. This collaboration promotes emerging talents and allows designers to gain valuable insights into their customers' needs and connect directly with them,» says Theresia Le Battistini, founder and CEO of Finfin Play.
The partnership also aims to support young designers and bring them closer to a fashion-enthusiastic audience. Additionally, «Fashion League» provides the ideal stage for new talents to shine alongside established brands.
