According to his LinkedIn profile, Urs Walbrecht is responsible for sales, client relationships and partnerships at SIX Securities Services. The division provides clearing, settlement and custody services. Walbrecht began his career at HSBC in Düsseldorf in 2010. From March 2013 onwards, he worked as a manager in the Financial Institutions Group. Three years later, he moved to the custody division, where he took on the role of Associate Director Sales & Business Development.

In August 2020, he was appointed to the management board of HSBC Inka, assuming responsibility for business development and client management. From June 2024 until April 2026, he served as CEO.
