Edmond de Rothschild Hits Record Level
The Geneva-based private banking group Edmond de Rothschild accelerated its growth in the 2025 financial year. Driven by its two core businesses, private banking and asset management, the group attracted net new money of over 10 billion francs. This represents an increase of 5,5 percent compared with the previous year, according to a statement released on Friday.
This brings total inflows over the past three years to 28 billion francs.
Assets Under Management at Record High
Assets under management (AuM) rose by 8 percent to 198 billion francs, reaching a record level.
In private banking, Edmond de Rothschild generated net new money of 5 billion francs. According to the group, inflows were broadly diversified across all regions.
Asset management also recorded inflows of 5 billion francs. Growth was driven in particular by fixed income investments as well as private markets, especially real estate and infrastructure financing.
Earnings Stabilise
Gross operating income increased slightly to 211 million francs (+2 percent). While the two core businesses grew by 16 percent, the lower interest rate environment weighed on the net interest margin in treasury.
At the bottom line, net profit amounted to 73 million francs, slightly below the previous year (75 million francs; -2,7 percent).
The group remains robustly positioned, with a solvency ratio of 19,1 percent and a liquidity coverage ratio of 184 percent.
Sustained Momentum
CEO Ariane de Rothschild spoke of a confirmed strategic trajectory: «The momentum we achieved in 2025 confirms the strength of our independent business model and the trust of our clients.» The start to 2026 has also been promising, with «exceptionally strong» inflows in the first quarter.
