One of these places—and by now a natural meeting point for the local banking community throughout the day—is Kesslers Club Social, run by host Anna Kessler.

The elegantly appointed lounge, with its generous ceiling height, exudes a cosmopolitan flair more reminiscent of New York or Paris than Zurich’s District 9. Mornings bring espresso and croissants; in the afternoon, café tables double as a home-office alternative; and in the evening, drinks begin to flow—often after the end-of-day meeting.

finews recently had the opportunity to experience the club at a premiere event: at the end of 2025, Kesslers hosted its first gourmet evening, «Bangkok Nights,» in collaboration with Thai chef Yuttakan Pongkunsup, who runs the two noteworthy Thai restaurants «Suahoy» and «Soï» in Geneva. The combination of precise Thai fine dining and a carefully curated atmosphere made for an evening that lingered in the memory.

Impressive is not only the cocktail selection—tailored specifically to the occasion—but also the way authentic Thai flavors are given a fitting stage, from an intense Massaman curry to subtle spice notes in the mango dessert. In terms of mixology, Kesslers ranks among the most exciting and best cocktail destinations in Zurich even beyond special events (as confirmed by an Old Fashioned that outshines more than a few luxury hotels).

Anna Kessler confirms that many bankers frequent the venue regularly: «Whether for a morning coffee, an afterwork spot in the afternoon, or an evening drink—we are a second living room for many.»

Looking ahead to the first half of the year, Kesslers promises further highlights: among them a Havana Social Night with salsa music and special pre-revolution cocktails, as well as two live music sessions. A Valentine’s Day special is also planned—and the gourmet kitchen is set to make a comeback soon.
