Emirates Investment Bank Goes Digital With Avaloq

With the introduction of the Avaloq platform, EIBank intends to upgrade its core wealth management systems, expand its front-office capabilities, and enhance its digital channels—both web and mobile. This initiative lays the foundation for scalable, data-driven, and highly personalized client service.

Wealth Management 2.0

As part of this transformation, the Emirates Investment Bank’s front-, middle-, and back-office systems will be integrated into a single, unified platform. The new system is expected to significantly reduce manual processes, accelerate onboarding of high-net-worth clients, and increase operational efficiency. With integrated compliance and risk management features, the platform also meets the growing regulatory requirements of the financial authorities in the UAE.

«Our partnership with Avaloq underscores our commitment to staying at the forefront of innovation in a dynamic and growing market,» said Anthony Jaganathan, Chief Operating Officer of Emirates Investment Bank. «By unifying our operations on a future-ready platform, we are creating a solid foundation for sustainable growth and long-term value for our investors.»

Technology as a growth driver

According to Vinod Yadav, Head of Technology at EIBank, the key advantage lies in improved data quality and utilization: «Avaloq’s unified platform and data model ensure that we have clean, consistent, and actionable data across the bank—a crucial step toward enabling future AI-driven applications. This transformation allows us to serve our clients with greater agility, transparency, and precision while strengthening Dubai’s position as a global financial hub.» Avaloq’s open architecture also allows the bank to seamlessly integrate third-party services and applications via community APIs. This flexibility enables EIBank to bring new products to market faster and drive innovation more effectively.

«An enhanced client experience»

For EIBank’s clients, the new platform translates into greater transparency and control. They will benefit from a clearer overview of their portfolios, detailed fee breakdowns, and customizable dashboards. «With the Avaloq platform, Emirates Investment Bank can streamline its operations, better support its relationship managers, and further enhance the digital client experience through modern web and mobile banking solutions,» said Akash Anand, Regional Director and Head of Middle East & Africa at Avaloq.

The partnership also marks an important milestone for EIBank—the only independent private bank in the UAE regulated by the Central Bank. Pascal Wengi, Member of the Executive Board at Avaloq Group, views the collaboration as a significant contribution to the development of the region’s financial sector: «As the UAE continues to establish itself as a hub for wealth management, we remain committed to supporting leading financial institutions like Emirates Investment Bank in building scalable and tailored services. Together, we are creating the foundation for long-term growth and outstanding client experiences.»
