Zurich’s Clearstream Fund Centre Strengthens Its Leadership Team
The Clearstream Fund Centre in Zurich has appointed a new Head of Asset Management Strategic Accounts. Since mid-October, Cristina Mazzurana has joined the leadership team, according to a press release issued on Thursday.
Mazzurana reports to Thomas Erdmann, Global Head of Asset Management Sales & Relationship Management. Her role is to expand the strategic relationships with global asset managers and general partners. In doing so, she supports Clearstream’s mission to provide first-class services for fund distribution in the global wealth management sector.
Career Background: Carmignac and Capital Group
Mazzurana brings more than two decades of experience in business development and sales. Her previous roles include Business Development Director at Carmignac and, most recently, Managing Director at Capital Group, where she co-founded and expanded the firm’s financial intermediaries business in Milan.

Clearstream Fund Services supports the asset management industry with solutions in custody, execution, distribution, data, and digital infrastructure. The company operates Vestima, the world’s largest cross-border fund processing platform.
According to the press release, the Clearstream Fund Centre in Zurich serves as a central hub connecting asset managers with distribution partners through a unified contractual framework. It supports more than 900 clients worldwide — including wealth managers, private banks, global custodians, asset managers, general partners, and platforms — and provides access to over 85'000 funds.
