Bellevue Divests Subsidiary

On October 9, 2025, Bellevue signed and completed the sale of its subsidiary Adbodmer, which specializes in direct investments, to the company's management, according to a statement issued of Friday. The economic transfer took place retroactively as of September 30, 2025.

No financial details of the transaction were disclosed.

Gradual Sharpening of the Business Model

At the beginning of June, the company, headquartered of Theaterstrasse at Zurich's Sechseläutenplatz, announced a «gradual sharpening of the business model» when it presented its half-year report and implemented a management change. During the summer, Chairman of the Board Veit de Maddalena took over operational management at the healthcare-focus asset manager and the previous CEO Gebhard Giselbrecht left Bellevue.

The company will continue to benefit from Adbodmer's expertise and will keep using it for managing the Bellevue Entrepreneur Private Fund, the statement continued. With this transaction, Bellevue is reducing the complexity of its activities and refining its business model, with healthcare as its strategic core area.

Continued Access to Expertise in Direct Investments

«With the sale of Adbodmer to the management, we are consistently continuing our strategy to make Bellevue more focused and efficient,» said de Maddalena. «At the same time, we will retain access to first-class expertise in direct investments to offer our clients attractive entrepreneurial investment opportunities.»

«The management buy-out opens up new entrepreneurial perspectives for us and increases our strategic flexibility,» commented Adbodmer CEO Jan Kollros on the separation.

Adbodmer invests private capital from a group of Swiss entrepreneurs and entrepreneurial families in mid-sized companies and develops mid-market holdings in the DACH region for its investor group.
