Management Change at Schaffhauser Kantonalbank
As of February 1, 2026, Daniel Anders will assume leadership of the Operations & IT division and join the executive board of Schaffhauser Kantonalbank (SHKB), the bank announced on Tuesday.
Anders succeeds Ruedi Lenz, who will retire at the end of January 2026 after more than eleven years in this role.
Lenz shaped the bank for over a decade. Under his leadership, the Operations & IT division developed into a reliable backbone for stable client processes, secure systems, and both physical and digital security at the bank. He was also responsible for the maintenance and development of the bank’s real estate.
Previously Held Positions at ZKB
With Daniel Anders, SHKB gains an experienced manager with more than 25 years of leadership in the financial and technology industries. He previously served as head of Multichannel Management at Zürcher Kantonalbank and as a member of the executive board at Viseca Card Services, where he drove digitalization and innovation as CIO and COO. Most recently, he ran his own real estate company abroad, an experience that is expected to be valuable in the planned redevelopment of SHKB's headquarters in Schaffhausen.
Anders will join SHKB at the start of 2026 to ensure a smooth transition.
