Abaqon Acquired by Eraneos
Swiss consulting firm Abaqon will join the Eraneos group, the companies announced on Tuesday. The acquisition bolsters Eraneos' banking services portfolio and sharpens its position as a full-spectrum transformation partner for financial services companies.
Over recent years, Abaqon has established itself as a reliable and sustainable partner for Swiss financial institutions, particularly in areas such as hybrid consulting architectures, data analytics solutions, and generative AI platforms.
Strong Tech Expertise
Adrian Anderegg, Partner at Eraneos, emphasized the benefits of the transaction from the buyer's perspective: «With their strong tech expertise, they will significantly enhance our existing service portfolio.»
Philippe Vanin, Managing Partner and co-founder of Abaqon, stated: «With Eraneos, we've found a partner that allows us to preserve our DNA while contributing meaningfully to the continued growth of the Eraneos platform.»
Growth Through Acquisitions and Talent Expansion
Abaqon currently employs around 30 professionals. Eraneos has a workforce of approximately 1,200 employees across offices in Switzerland, Germany, the Netherlands, Spain, Denmark, Sweden, Austria, the United Kingdom, Singapore, and the United States. In 2024, the consulting group generated revenues of 263 million euros.
Earlier in 2025, Eraneos acquired Swiss transformation boutique SevenQ, as reported by finews.ch, and has since continued to grow its team throughout the year.
