Radicant Bank Divests Fiduciary Business
Following a multimillion write-down, now comes the savings program: Radicant Bank is selling its physical fiduciary business. The subsidiary of BLKB announced this on Thursday.
The measures are part of a cost reduction and efficiency program that focuses on leveraging synergies within the BLKB financial group and tapping into additional sales and distribution channels, according to the statement.
Departure of a Key Executive
As part of this program, the physical fiduciary business will be sold. A corresponding agreement has been signed, pending approval by the relevant authorities and Radicant’s general meeting. The purchase price remains confidential.
At the same time, a prominent departure is taking place: Roland Kläy, CFO/CRO and Deputy CEO, will leave the bank at the end of September. Kläy was one of Radicant’s founding team members.
Strong Growth
In the interim, the CFO position will be filled internally by David Jungen, who will join the Executive Board in that role.
According to the bank, Radicant experienced strong growth in the first half of 2025, reaching 18'000 clients by the end of June. Just a few days ago, the parent company BLKB announced a write-down of 105 million francs related to Radicant Bank.
