Baker McKenzie Appoints New Partner in Geneva
Effective July 1, 2025, Diana Bellido Gomes has been promoted to partner at Baker McKenzie Switzerland. In her new role, she will work within the Global Reorganizations and Mergers & Acquisitions practice groups in Geneva.
According to a statement released on Thursday, the appointment is expected to strengthen the firm’s M&A and private equity capabilities, particularly for clients in Romandy, the French-speaking region of Switzerland.
Focus on M&A and Private Equity
Bellido Gomes specializes in domestic and cross-border mergers and acquisitions, private equity transactions, corporate reorganizations, and general corporate law matters.
She holds law degrees from the University of Geneva and King’s College London, and is fluent in English, French, Portuguese, and Spanish. She was admitted to the Swiss Bar in 2016.
This expansion of the corporate law practice marks an important step toward growing the Geneva office and enhancing the firm’s presence in Romandy.
