Lumen Capital Expands Team with Former UBS Executives
Swiss asset manager Lumen Capital (Switzerland) has appointed Marco Haas as a Partner in early June 2025, as finews.com has learned. A spokesperson confirmed the information.
Haas brings over 20 years of experience in wealth management, both in the Swiss market and in international business. He began his career in 2004 in UBS’s international wealth management division.
Broad Experience in Private Banking
From 2010 to 2014, he contributed to the founding and development of a private bank in Zurich, where he was also responsible for private banking. Following that, he spent ten years at UBS advising affluent Swiss clients as a Senior Client Advisor and was a Team Leader.
«At Lumen Capital, I have the opportunity to provide my clients with individual and comprehensive advice, without conflicts of interest. Active listening is particularly important to me to truly understand clients’ needs,» Haas said.
He holds a Master’s degree in Economics from the University of St. Gallen (HSG) as well as a Chartered Alternative Investment Analyst (CAIA) diploma. Additionally, he is a Certified Wealth Management Advisor (CWMA) for the Swiss market.
New Advisory Board Member

Lumen Capital (Switzerland) has also appointed Matthias Krauland to its Advisory Board. He previously worked at UBS before moving to Deutsche Bank, where he continues to serve as an Advisory Board Member.
In addition, he has been with the German company Eisenmann SE for more than 18 years, serving as its CEO for over twelve years and now as Chairman of the Board of Directors. Eisenmann SE is an internationally active plant manufacturer and supplier to the automotive industry, based in Böblingen, Germany.
