Vontobel’s Media Head Leaves Finance

Starting June 10, 2025, Urs Fehr will take over Group Communications with a focus on financial communications and investor relations, according to an announcement from the media company on Thursday.

Fehr brings approximately 15 years of experience in the financial industry. Since 2009, he has held prominent communications roles at various financial institutions – including Clariden Leu, Julius Baer, Credit Suisse, Falcon Private Bank, and, since 2019, at Vontobel.

Most recently, he was responsible at Vontobel as Head of Media Relations for the entire strategic media work, including financial and crisis communications.

With his move to TX Group, Fehr is leaving the world of finance to enter the media and technology landscape.

Strengthening Group-Level Communications

At the beginning of 2025, TX Group decentralized its communications structure, placing responsibility in the hands of the respective business units.

With Fehr’s appointment, the group aims to strategically strengthen its communications at the corporate level.
