Boreal on Growth Path

It is rather rare for wealth managers to publish their annual figures—listed companies aside, of course. On Thursday, Boreal Capital Management Switzerland, while not revealing a full set of financial data, did at least disclose some key metrics.

According to the figures, assets under management by the Zurich-based company rose to EUR 1,616 billion, representing an increase of 51 percent over two years (measured not against the previous year, but the year before that). The number of clients also increased by 32 percent over the same period.

Boreal’s team grew by 88 percent in 2024, according to the announcement. However, no absolute figures were provided for staff or clients.

Jaime Moreno, CEO of Boreal Switzerland, commented:
«We have consolidated a sophisticated and transparent wealth management model that has enabled us to achieve significant growth in assets under management and in profits.»

Boreal Capital Management is a subsidiary of Mora Banc, a privately held financial group headquartered in Andorra, with branches in Spain, Miami, and Switzerland.

The growth of Boreal Switzerland, founded in 2008, has contributed to the internationalization of the group, the release states. In 2024, for the first time, the group managed more assets in its international subsidiaries than in Andorra.
