Avaloq Opens Office in Dubai

Avaloq has established a new branch in the Dubai International Financial Centre (DIFC). According to a statement released on Thursday, this is a strategic move to drive further expansion.

The new presence follows the signing of an agreement with InvestGB, the wealth management arm of Gulf Bank. Additionally, Avaloq has recently acquired another major client in the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) region.

Driving Digital Transformation

The company aims to accelerate the digital transformation of the financial services sector in the Middle East. Avaloq intends to support financial institutions in the region as they adapt to evolving investor expectations and address key trends and challenges—particularly in technology adoption and client trust.

Avaloq states that it has long been a trusted partner for leading financial institutions in the region. It supports their offshore operations in Switzerland while also helping global firms establish their onshore wealth management businesses in the Middle East.

«The GCC is a dynamic and rapidly growing market for private banking, wealth management, and investment management,» said Avaloq’s Regional Head for the Middle East, Akash Anand. «We are excited to build a strong local presence in Dubai.»
