GenTwo Stirs Up London’s Crypto World

GenTwo, the Zurich-based securitization platform, has entered a strategic partnership with Semoto, a London-based B2B Web3 marketplace, to bridge the gap between blockchain startups and institutional capital.

Semoto connects crypto projects with vetted service providers in legal, compliance, tokenomics, and technology. With a network of over 500 Web3 companies, the firm positions itself as an infrastructure layer for scaling blockchain ventures.

TradFi Meets Tokenization

The collaboration enables crypto-native funds and real-world asset (RWA) tokenization projects to be issued as GenTwo actively managed certificates (AMC's) — bankable securities with ISINs that can be held in traditional custody accounts.

«GenTwo opens the door of extremely well-developed institutional products to the crypto world,» said Marco Morazzoni, Founder and CEO of Semoto.

Connecting Old and New

For GenTwo, the partnership is another step in its mission to make virtually any asset investable. «We're democratizing access to the expanded investment universe,» said Philippe A. Naegeli, Co-Founder and CEO of GenTwo. The company expanded into the UK in 2024 after initially serving clients exclusively from Switzerland.

While the crypto market is valued at $2.7 trillion, institutional participation remains limited. GenTwo and Semoto hope to change that — by speaking the language of both worlds.
