Geneva Boutique Recruits Two CS/UBS Managers

The financial boutique Azura, specializing in managing the wealth of ultra-high-net-worth private clients, has hired two private bankers with a background at Credit Suisse. They are expected to support the company’s expansion plans.

On Thursday, Azura Partners announced that it had recruited two private bankers from UBS. With Tarek Sidky and Samir El Nawawy, the firm's presence in Geneva will be strengthened. These hires highlight Azura's growing appeal to top-tier talent following the recent UBS takeover – referring, of course, to Credit Suisse (CS).

Sidky and Nawawy, both former CS bankers, bring extensive expertise in wealth management, investment banking, and corporate banking, according to the announcement.

Extensive Experience in the UHNW Segment

Tarek Sidky, with nearly four decades of industry experience, will be joining Azura as a partner. He specializes in advising and managing ultra-high-net-worth individuals (UHNWIs). Most recently, Sidky was a Managing Director at CS and UBS, and he has also worked for American Express and Citi Private Bank.

Samir El Nawawy is joining Azura as an Executive Director and will work closely with Sidky. With over a decade of experience in private wealth management, he has served UHNWI clients in the Middle East and Egypt. Before his tenure at CS and UBS, El Nawawy also worked for Citi IPB and Abu Dhabi Commercial Bank.

«A Key Role in Our Continued Expansion»

«The addition of Tarek and Samir to our team underscores Azura Partners' commitment to growth in this sector. Their expertise and strong client relationships will play a key role in our continued expansion,» commented Pauline Cahill, Chief People Officer of Azura Partners.

Founded in 2019, the financial boutique employs 60 staff across its offices in Geneva, Monaco, London, Dubai, Singapore, Miami, and New York. It manages assets totaling $4,5 billion.
