What do you do first in the morning?

I am an early bird. I am up by 5:30am and get out of the house as fast as possible so I can get a jump start on the day.

What is the best thing about your job?

The people. Absolutely no doubt about that. The people are the reason I am in this business. Top people build top tech.

A moment that changed your life?

Releasing the book, Assetization, that I wrote with my partner and co-founder Patrick. In that book I could put down everything I’ve learned and thought and hoped for in the world of finance and investing. Assetization is our vision for a new world where everyone can invest in their beliefs. It was also an amazing experience working with all the people, from our team to the design team to all our partners who contributed. Just bringing this vision to reality.

What cars do you drive? What is your favorite?

For me cars are not important. A car is like an iPhone, it’s just a device.

What advice would you give your 20-year-old-self?

There are only two rules in life: one is to not stop, the other is to keep going.

What are you particularly proud of?

I am proud of everybody that I find that trusts me.

What was your biggest defeat?

My 8 year-old daughter beating me in chess.

What is your favorite wine?

Chateau La Mission Haut Brion

What are you working on at the moment?

I am always working on projects. My biggest project right now is building my company, GenTwo.

What is the most important to you at the moment?

The absolutely most important thing to me is bringing Assetization to the world.

What would be the biggest surprise if someone who had to do your job for a day?

How creative finance can be.

What is your personal motivation?

Building a world in which everyone can invest in their beliefs. Only then can they put their money where their convictions are. I am convinced this will help make the world a better place.

What are you afraid of?

Envy.

Your favorite watch brand?

I don’t wear or own a watch.

What do your employees value most about you?

That I am passionate and honest.

Your best investment?

My engagement ring.
