Neue Bank, a private bank based in Vaduz with 6.8 billion francs in assets under management (as of mid-2024), is reorganizing its business.

Since February 1, Roman Pfranger, who joined from Kaiser Partner Privatbank, has been serving as CEO (finews.com reported).

«Key Role»

The company has now announced another personnel addition on LinkedIn: Branko Racić will take on the newly created role of Head EAM International.

In this capacity, he will work alongside Mathias Bürzle, Head Intermediaries, to drive the international expansion of the business with external asset managers. Bürzle will «continue to perform his previous duties as usual and play a key role in the further development of the business,» according to the bank.

Raised in Vorarlberg

Additionally, Racić will pursue the «strategic goal» of «driving our international expansion.» To achieve this, he brings «extensive expertise in the financial sector and deep market knowledge, and he will play a key role in advancing our global expansion.»

Branko Racić grew up in Vorarlberg and studied business administration at the University of Liechtenstein. He then worked for four years at Kaiser Partner as a relationship manager before joining DZ Bank in 2012 in a similar role.

Ten Years at Vontobel

Since 2015, he has been with Vontobel, initially as a Relationship Manager EAM International, and for the past five years as Executive Director and Head EAM International.

Racić brings the ideal combination of many years of experience, market knowledge, and an extensive international EAM network to drive international growth in a targeted manner, according to the financial institution.

Strong Position in EAM in Liechtenstein and Switzerland

Neue Bank already holds a strong market position among independent asset managers in Switzerland and Liechtenstein.

When asked by finews.com which new markets would be targeted with the hiring of Branko Racić, the bank declined to show its cards.
