Vontobel Increases Net New Money and Profit

In the past year, 2024, Vontobel achieved a pre-tax profit of CHF 354 million, representing a 32 percent increase compared to the previous year. Net profit grew by 24 percent to CHF 266 million, the bank announced on Friday.

Operating income increased by 9 percent to CHF 1,42 billion, with growth recorded in both Private and Institutional Clients.

Assets under management in both client segments increased by a total of 11 percent to CHF 229 billion. Net new money inflows amounted to CHF 2,6 billion.

Negative Net New Money in Institutional Clients

While net new money in the Private Clients segment reached CHF 4,6 billion, reflecting a net new money growth of 4,7 percent, outflows in the Institutional Clients segment significantly slowed to CHF –2,9 billion from the previous year’s CHF –7,6 billion, the bank further stated.

Return on equity increased to 12,3 percent, up from the previous 10,5 percent.

At the General Meeting on April 2, 2025, an unchanged dividend of CHF 3,00 per share will be proposed.
