Polaris, which specializes in marketing and distributing alternative investments, named Robert «Rob» Carroll as Managing Partner, according to a statement released on Friday by the firm.

Working alongside Claus Hilpold, Stefan Brägger, and Rolf Dreiseidler, Carroll will focus on enhancing Polaris's fundraising and GP advisory services. He will also strengthen investor relations across Europe, including expanding into key markets such as the United Kingdom and France.

Proven Expertise

Polaris is a regulated European placement agent with a 17-year track record. The company specializes in marketing and fund distribution for alternative investments, including private equity, private debt, infrastructure, and real assets.

Carroll brings over 15 years of experience in working with institutional investors and raising capital. Most recently, he was a Partner at Sofinnova Partners, a European private equity firm focused on life sciences. Prior to that, he led PwC’s global fundraising advisory platform and worked at Mercury Capital Advisors.
