Global Management Consultant Now Also Has a Foothold in Zurich

The globally active L.E.K. Consulting has appointed a new Partner and Managing Director for its Swiss headquarters. Marc D. Grüter has been managing the business in Switzerland and Liechtenstein from Zurich since the end of 2024 and is also available as a contact person for clients from Germany and Austria, according to a press release issued on Thursday.

L.E.K previously had no presence in Switzerland.

Grüter also manages projects at L.E.K. in the areas of digital transformation and risk management for the financial services sector. In his new position, he will focus on innovative business and digitalisation strategies, transformations, restructurings, mergers and acquisitions as well as risk management, regulation and compliance.

Clients include institutions from the private and corporate client business and asset management sectors, as well as insurance companies, central banks, supervisory authorities and fintechs.

Academic background

Grüter most recently worked at UBS and leading strategy consulting and Big 4 companies in Switzerland, Europe, USA/Canada and the Middle East and can look back on 20 years of experience in the industry. Before becoming a consultant, he was a university lecturer and doctoral candidate at the Chair of Bank Management at the Centre for Economics at the University of Basel.
