Private Banker Heads New Zwei Wealth Office in Geneva

The Zurich-based welath advisory platform Zwei Wealth has opened a branch in Geneva, as first reported by the financial portal «Finance Corner». It is headed by long-time banker Thierry Cherf, as can be seen from his LinkedIn profile.

«After 25 years of serving institutional and private clients, I am looking forward to creating an infrastructure that will enable our advisors and financial partners to offer high-performance and client-oriented services,» he said on Friday. Cherf has already worked for various Swiss private banks in his career, namely Union Bancaire Privée, LGT, Syz and J. Safra Sarasin.

Most recently, he worked for the pension company Coninco. He joins Zwei Wealth as Managing Director.

From Advisory Firm to Ecosystem

Zwei Wealth, founded by former UBS bankers Klaus Wellershoff and Patrick Müller, celebrated its tenth anniversary last December. Originally founded as an independent advisory firm for wealth management, the company has developed into an «ecosystem for wealth management», that enables investors to create their own «Wealth Office» as finews.ch has also reported on various occasions.

The online portal can be used to analyze and manage consolidated assets, whether financial or non-financial, and to use wealth planning tools.

Strong Growth

Zwei Wealth now manages more than 11 billion Swiss francs in assets on the platform, from pension portfolios to large family assets. Zwei Wealth is looking for more than ten new advisors in Geneva and Zurich for 2025 alone.
