Former SNB Head of Communications Becomes Agency Partner
PR Agency Lemongrass has appointed Susanne Mühlemann as a new partner. She will join the communications company on January 1, according to a press release issued on Tuesday.
Mühlemann will focus in particular on advising on the public positioning and reputation of companies and individuals, as well as working in crisis communications and the positioning of companies in internal and external communications.
The new Lemongrass partner was previously head of communications at the SNB for seven years. The SNB announced her departure in mid-March and appointed former NZZ journalist Claudia Aebersold as her successor.
According to the statement, Mühlemann led the SNB's corporate communications in an environment characterized by crises and at a time of major monetary policy challenges. She has many years of management experience in the media and corporate sector and is an ideal addition to the partnership.
Communication in Exceptional Situations
Before joining the SNB, she was responsible for strategic communication at UBS Switzerland and was Head of Media Relations & Internal Communication at Swiss International Airlines from 2010 to 2014. In these roles, she oversaw communication during exceptional situations and supported change management processes as well as major projects, the agency stated.
Mühlemann has a background in business journalism and spent 15 years working for various Swiss media, including Tages-Anzeiger, Aargauer Zeitung, Bilanz and Sonntagsblick.
The Zurich-based communications agency Lemongass will be celebrating its 20th anniversary in 2025. The appointment brings the number of partners to eight.
